Welcome to the website for Wotton & District Silver Band. We are an established, enthusiastic and very friendly brass band. We meet twice a week for rehearsals, and perform a wide variety of music, from Bach to the Beatles, original works, jazz, pop, and arrangements of music from TV, Films and the West End musicals.

Our Band Room is located in the lovely town of Wotton-Under-Edge, Gloucestershire, just 10 minutes off of the M5 at Junction 14, and on the edge of the Cotswolds.



We are currently a 2nd section Nationally graded band, and in 2007 proudly represented the West of England at the National Brass Band Finals held in Harrogate. We have also been 4th section West of England Champions, and enjoy attending local contests throughout the year.

From Bandstands to Wotton Hill...

We undertake a variety of engagements throughout the year, including indoor concerts, parks, bandstands, garden fetes, fundraising events, ceremonial days pub gardens and of course brass band contests. We always have a busy schedule, especially around Christmas where you can here us playing carols around the Gloucestershire area. We also perform regularly for the Red Cross at their annual programme of events at country estates in the Cotswolds.

Once a year you can even hear us perform at the top of Wotton Hill in a local traditional ceremony to welcome the beginning of Spring.
