Alan Bruton - Solo Euphonium*
Alan has played in Brass Bands for 39 years, starting at the young age of just 8. He began on cornet and progressed through soprano cornet, baritone and finally euphonium. He joined Wotton Band 2 years ago and has quickly established himself as a fine soloist and loyal bandsman. Alan has previously played with Message Maker (now Polysteel), and Nailsworth Bands. His favourite composer is Eric Ball, with Journey into Freedom being his favourite piece of music.
