Ian Ford - Principal Cornet*
Ian has been playing for over 30 years, performing with many local bands including Marshfield, Bristol East, Bendix and now Wotton Band. His best 'banding' moment was when Wotton qualified for the 2007 National Brass Finals. Ian's favorite piece of music is Northern Landscape by Peter Graham, and his favourite musician is the legendary Cornet player Roger Webster. Ian is currently employed as a Technology Teacher, and is also Chairman of the band

Ken Stout - Solo Cornet*
Ken has been playing corner for over 35 years. He has enjoyed spells with other Bands including Bristol East and Stourport bands. He joined Wotton in early 2007 and has quickly become a key member of the band. His favourite piece of music is The Maid on the Moor by Goff Richards, and his favourite composer is Kenneth Downie.

Marianne Joynes - Solo Cornet*
Marianne has been playing cornet for 18 years since she was just 6 years old, learning to play when she had no front teeth! She has been with Wotton Band since November 2007, before this she played with Worcester Concert Brass for 11 years and was principal cornet for much of that time. Her favourite brass composer is Philip Sparke and one of her favourite pieces of music is Concierto D'Aranjuez

Stuart Woodman - 2nd Cornet*
Stuart has been playing for over 25 years. He has been a member of the Wotton band for over 20 years, initially joining on tuba before moving to cornet. He comes from a musical family with his two sons, Jon (Flugel) and Alistair Percussionist, plus his daughter in-law, Jo (Repiano Cornet) all being talented musicians. Stuart is also an active member of the band committee.
His favourite piece of music is anything by Goff Richards

Lucy Seddon - 2nd Cornet*
Lucy began playing the cornet when she was a teenager (she won't tell us how long ago that was!!!) when both herself and her Dad had lessons at Frome Band. She had a gap of over 20 years before joining Wotton Band. One of her favourite pieces of music is David of the White Rock.

David 'Mac' Chappell -3rd Cornet*
Mac is one of the most experienced members of the band with over 53 years of music making. A remarkable 47 of these years were spent playing for the Chalford Band, before joinng Wotton 6 years ago. Amongst Mac's favourite composers are Eric Ball, Arthur Bliss and Kenneth Downie. His favourite pieces of music include Journey into Freedom and Night on a Bare Mountain.
